My name is Salawu Yemi Sadiq, founder and CEO of Interior Metals.
My journey began at the University of Jos, Nigeria, where I trained as an architect and developed a deep appreciation for minimalist forms, the quite elegance of clean lines, restrained palettes and purposeful spaces. That passion led me to specialize in interior architecture, and I went on to work with several interior design firms across the country immersing myself in the crafts, discipline and understanding of how spaces truly serve people.
Overtime, I discovered the unique beauty of Metal. I saw in metal a unique language: Strong yet refined, industrial yet elegant.
Metal perfectly suited the minimalist philosophy I had come to embrace, and inspired me to narrow my focus even further into steel fabrications for interior spaces, and ultimately, to build Interior Metals.
Today, with over a decade of experience and 15,000+ individual projects delivered to a diverse range of clients across Nigeria, we continue to push the boundaries on what metal can do inside a space. We transform steel, iron and aluminum into functional works of art, furniture, fixtures and fabrications that elevate interior spaces.
My background in architecture ensures that every piece we create isn’t just built- it’s designed. Every weld carries intention and every finish speaks to a standard we refuse to compromise on.

We use 100% auto-base paint, the same paint use in automotive industries. It delivers a premium finish and is available in every color.

We apply a special coating that prevents rust and reflects heat, protecting steel integrity. The finish comes glossy to maximize heat repellency.

Yes, but on a limited basis. We use specific mechanism that prevents surface scratch at junction points, keeping the furniture clean over time.
